What is hospice care?
Hospice care focuses on the quality of life for individuals and their caregivers who are experiencing an advanced, life-limiting illness. Hospice care can include a variety of services that come together to provide all-encompassing care for the last phases of incurable disease.
The benefits of hospice care are proven by research to support improved pain and symptom management, as well as greater comfort and ease for patients and their loved ones. There are no limits on the amount of time you can receive hospice, but your physician must order the service once every six months to determine if our care is still appropriate.
We at Serenity First strongly believe in the power and benefit of hospice care, and all too often we hear families say they wish they had received hospice care sooner. Fill out an online referral form today, and let us determine if hospice care is an option for your loved one.
